There are analogous things that go on in the World Cup qualifiers, where a strong team that wins its first two games in its pool often lies down in order to try to manipulate its spot in the playoff bracket or to ensure that the 2nd best team in it pool doesn't qualify for the bracket at all. If it's OK for this stuff to go on in the biggest sporting event in the world, where the results of the event can mean tens of millions of dollars to many of the players involved, why not here?

yeah, I get the reasoning and such.... just a personal preference in this matter... if you weren't on the roster during the regular season, you shouldn't be on the post season roster.... but as it is, the new additions didn't do my opponent enough good to make the difference.
