Also, Ron Darling, who I (disclaimer) hold in the highest esteem as part of the Mets' broadcast crew, is himself of pretty much all the races there are. He probably knows offensive terms better than a white guy from Philly that poses with Marx' assembled works on Twitter.

I would not let him steal with a 9-run lead for the plain reason that it is just another play he could get hurt on. Why push it when you are up by nine and the Show is on? Won't come back from a hammy this month…

I don't know. Maybe a case of a dragging game, being stuck with bland Brian Anderson, and not being able to reminisce the 80s with Keith Hernandez.
