I'm not a graphics guy, never will be. But, I can't argue with this at all. Problem is the stat engine has taken a huge step backwards in terms of realistic stats. It still produces incredible overall league numbers. But, on an individual basis it's producing way too many monster seasons. If it's producing too many monster seasons, I guaranty it's also producing way too many dreadful seasons as well. It would have to, as it's easy to see that overall league stats are dead on. It's simply not my cup of tea to fire up a season and see the hits leaderboard look like this, 265, 252, 240, 235, 221 etc. Every season shouldn't end with a batting average leaderboard that goes like this .385, .372,.365, 352, 333. Hitting .400 should be a rarity and something to celebrate when it happens. Ron Santo having an outlier season in which he hits .345 or better is a blast. Ron Santo stringing together 3 or 4 seasons hitting between .340 and .380 is a bummer. And it's not just hitters. When you look at a leagues history, the seasonal leaderboards should resemble that of real history. I guess I should state that I play mainly historical/random debut.
