I can't count how many historical leagues I've set up over the last 15 years. So I bought OOTP18 today, and after spending 4 hours trying to set up a simple historical league in the 1980s, I find that everything is wrong.

Facegen - what happened? It used to be that you start a historical league and the game looks for the .fg files in the fg_files folder and automatically loads facegen for real historical players. Not anymore. Now every player gets random facegen faces, almost all with some of the most ridiculous facial hair I've ever seen. In any event, historical players shouldn't get this ridiculous facial hair. Their faces should come from their historical .fg files. I have 18,000+ of these .fg files in the fg_files folder. They worked fine for OOTP 17, 16, 15, probably farther back, I don't remember. I search the forum and read many threads about how messed up the historical setup is. Some people speculate there might be a mod out there on some defunct website. No help. Nobody knows. It worked fine in OOTP17. Don't understand the motive for changing it.

Uniforms - all wrong. Uniforms don't match up to years.

Logos - all wrong. Don't match up to years.

Many more problems. Settings you guys added to the game but didn't bother explaining in the manual or anywhere else.

I could go on and on, but I'm already over the 2 hours playing time that Steam gives you to return the game for refund, so I don't want to open it anymore and jeopardize my refund, they might make an exception given the circumstances.
