Traded 26 yr old 3B Eric Jagielo (4* C), 27 yr old RHP Keyvius Sampson (1.5* C), and 21 yr old C Tyler Stephenson (4* P) to the Cleveland Indians for 26 yr old RHP Dylan Baker (4* P), 27 yr old Tyler Naqiun (2.5 *C) and 23 year old LHP Rob Kaminsky (4* P)

Reason:
With this trade we flip Jagielo's unsustainable hot streak for potential. Kaminsky, Naquin and Kaminsly provide young alternatives to our aging, over paid veterans. Kaminsky was the priority in the trade as already as a 23 he can play adamantly in the big leagues. We also gave up potential in Typer Stephenson, I believe though that he will not pan out since his ceiling is only 60 contact and 50 power.

Traded 29 yr old RHP Stephen Strasburg (5* C) and 28 yr old RHP Raisel Iglesias
(2.5* C) for 24 yr old RHP Carson Fulmer (5* P) and 22 yr old RHP Spencer Adams (5* P)

With this Fulmer and Adams will assume starting roles.

Reason:
This frees up the 30 million tied up with Strasburg, also it clears 2 rotation spots for Adams and Fulmer. This is a classic trade I like to execute, we got consensus top prospects while shedding payroll. With these trades though, our fan interest in low and right now it seems bleak to compete.


Rotation Changes:
Brandon Finnegan (4-5 5.18 ERA) loses his rotation to Dylan Baker
A.J Cole (6-6 3.75 ERA) moves to the bullpen for Spencer Adams

Lineup changes:
Scott Schebler moves to DH and Tyler Naquin moves to CF, Roman Cabrera is subsequently demoted.

Alex Blandino takes over 3B for Eric Jagielo who left due to trade
