really, my only point is, that the answer to ssd vs. hdd is very personal.

i am applying the same potential concerns to an SSD.. it really doesn't matter if it's a vette or a yugo. this analogy is getting a bit offbase, lol.
everythign is relative, and i made an honest effort to explain it in such a way.. never giving a specific opinion but rather giving relevant information.
i don't know the person's income level, expectations or when they intend to replace a component or entire computer... i don't want to know or ask these things either. they can take the info and apply their version of common sense after that point.
i know you don't need this explanation... i have time to kill.
