In my historical game, stats only of course, and using the OOTP development engine, Willie Mays had two decent years, and then was just average after that. Got my attention, because when I checked the trade block, he was on there. I generally play fictional, stats only, but I like historical now, with the minor league players included. Brings back memories of seeing many of those players at Connie Mack Stadium in the 60's. And then I find myself asking the question on a certain player, "I wonder if he's still alive", and I'll immediately go to Baseball Reference to check that. Sad to see that some of those players passed away at an early age.
