And based on a lot of the back and forth here recently it seems reasonable to surmise that if it can't be added to MLB it is unlikely to be added at all. Personally I would like to at least have the option to add it to my fictional games, and would completely understand if it could not be added to MLB games due to licensing. That actually makes sense to me.
That said it doesn't bother me that players live forever, I've taken it on as just one of a number of things I sort of look past as not game breaking and hope it will be added or fixed in a future release
