I had occasion to think about this a bit more and I realize that getting such a note on EVERY minor league player proposed to be promoted or demoted would be even more tedious! Maybe a summary report of batters (from the batting coach) and pitchers (from the pitching coach) with recommendations therein to be approved or denied (unless such moves are delegated to the AI).
Anyway, the point is to have
some meaningful interaction with coaches so as they are not just placeholders with hopefully blue ratings and that is all you care about. VG's and eg's suggestions about love/hate notes from coaches and coaching histories are great suggestions.
