I noticed there's no minor leagues in a historical season. So if I start in 1901 and sim until present day, how do rookies work?

I assume Ted Williams will make his debut in 1939 (as he did in real life) and be in the 1938 end of year draft class?

What about someone like Derek Jeter? In real life he was drafted in '92, cup of coffee in '95, first full season in '96. So, when is he brought into the league? Is he in the draft after the '91 season? If he is and he sits in the reserve roster, will his skills increase as they did in real life (roughly, obviously) so he'll be ready to go in or around '96? Or will he be ready to go in '92? OR will he be draft in '96 ready to go?
