OOTP Developments Forums - View Single Post - Offering Extension, Submit offer grayed out

When I'm negotiating an extension with one of my starting pitchers I meet his demands and no pop up says that my offer is turned down by the owner, yet I still can't submit the offer. I'm assuming this is because I can't afford it? If so, why doesn't the owner stop it instead?
