sinker ball pitchers
I'm curious to see if anyone has noticed this or maybe someone in the know can shed some light on this.
It seems to be general baseball wisdom that sinker ball pitchers pitxh better when the arm is a bit tired. A long layoff seems to lead to having an arm thats too fresh and pitches are harder and stay up in the zone to get clobbered.
Anyone notice this in OOTP. I play out my games and have noticed that my #2 pitcher who is a sinker baller pitches better on when his rest number is in the green (rested but not 100%) but much worse when he's in the blue (100% rested). Is this something that im thinking im seeing or is OOTP actually designed with that sort of conventional baseball wisdom in mind.
Or am i just crazy? Thoughts?
