I recently had a difference with a long-time member of whom I had never previously heard, which was odd to me. I only just discovered today, while doing some research in an older forum, the transformation of this user's identity (apparently one's historical posts are renamed but if they were quoted, one's original identity appears therein).
I "knew" this fellow from previous discussions and was familiar with his irascible style. He likes to argue but, most of the time, he has something of interest and intelligence to say. If I had known it was him in our latest encounter, I don't think I would have been quite as annoyed with him!  |
