"Top Players" in feeder leagues fills up with old players
First, I want to say what a blast OOTP 11 has been so far. OOTP 8 Free is what convinced me to buy - never had I seen so many customization options in a sports game.
I've spent about 2 months of trial and error perfecting my ideal league, a massive 48-team major league with all levels of minor leagues, and three high school feeder leagues. I've simmed my way 50 years into the future to create tough season records and plenty of stat history. (Yeah, my game folder is about 15 GB in size now, but it's no problem if OOTP is installed on a solid state drive.)
The only problem I'm running into at this point (and it's very minor) is that when I ask for a "Top Players" report in any of my three HS feeder leagues, the whole list is filled with 20 and 30 somethings who were drafted by a professional club, but never signed. The maximum roster age is 18 for each HS league, so why would they still be affiliated with the high school league instead of being a free agent in a minor or major league?
I tried reducing the number of feeder teams, down to the point where they couldn't even fill up the first-year draft, but it seems like these underachievers just won't move on. Even though HS leagues are usually just there to supply players, every now and then I like to manage one of their teams and see what those kids can do, and the "Top Players" report is useful to see who's hot.
Thanks for any tips you folks can provide.
