I agree and I think a lot of us have hoped at many times in the past to see something like that for OOTP. We have at least once or twice, but IIRC it was only a simple poll on the boards here and without being able to rank our preferences (what I thought would work well) or weight them (like Shaun's idea which sounds even better), a regular yes or no poll really doesn't tell you much.
I'd want to think of my favourite requests more (18 choices are far too few IMO to pick from), but I think at the moment for OOTP I'd say:
20$ on each of:
-expanded playoff options
-league "associations" (I forget what it all entails, but I'm sure some of you know what I'm referring to)
-user-defineable stats
-interface customizeability (being able to create my own toolbar shortcuts, decide what stats get displayed in the mini stat tables, etc)
-fix bugs / improve already existing features
I'd also agree with you that probably far too many requests don't get nearly the attention that they deserve. Someone elsewhere recently said something to the effect that there's not much else you could add to OOTP (besides graphics). To that I respectfully say, "nonsense!". There's probably hundreds of great requests that have already been posted. Markus could probably spend the next decade on adding them alone without fixing bugs, adding graphics, tweaking the AI or any of the other usual requests. Not that that's going to happen, nor should it, just that I think that there's probably that many worthy requests.
