Thanks. Yeah, this is exactly the kind of stuff I was having difficulty wrapping my head around. You're right, other GMs do need to have the opportunity to claim the players so the waiver period does need to last at least the length of the sim, but if your sim is only 7 days long all it needs to be is 7 days, right? It's overkill to make it 8 days and have it drag over two sims, right?
Since you seem to get this, any thoughts on DFA length? Same thing, it only has to last the full length of two sims, not drag over 3?
EDIT: Oh wait, maybe it does need to drag over. If it only lasts the full length of the sim then they'll have already passed through waivers by the end of the last day of the sim, I think. Hmm, I'll see if I can easily just test it..
