As for the responses, I'd have to agree with Chris. I don't want to be critical to the posters or readers of the OOTP Dynasty forum, but they really don't give a person much enthusiasm for continuing a baseball dynasty. Last year I was doing one which included weekly reports of the happenings around the league. Not to blow my own horn, but it was better than probably 90% of the stuff being posted there and with the exception of board member ifspuds, I rarely got a word of encouragement or compliment. It was one of the reasons why I stopped doing it because even though it was getting a lot of views, and even though I was enjoying writing it, I really felt like I was performing to an empty auditorium, so to speak. Folks down here in ItR really get involved in the universes people craft and they let you know that with their posts.

Welcome aboard!
Oh yeah, I definitely do Thriftlon for personal enjoyment. I've gotten the occasional good word from people but it quickly became clear that if I was going to rely on verbal encouragement for that, the dynasty wasn't going to last long... and, of course, peoples' dynasties there tend not to last long.

Ah well... on with the uni....

Or George Chuvalo. But it's all in good fun! Speaking of which... Connecticut is right next to New York state... hmm.
