I love polls like this and have wanted to do one for OOTP for years now, but just felt it would be too much of an undertaking trying to come up with what everyone felt was a good list of voting options. That, and I figured it might be putting too much pressure on Markus to add the most popular ones. So thanks for possibly taking it on yourself!
I'd have a difficult time paring my choice just down to one though. So, instead I'd like to make my one request of you: If you do do a poll, please don't just ask people to vote for the one; please ask them to rank their favourite 5, 10 whatever as that would give us so much more information on what the community would really like.
If you find you'd like some help with the poll or the tabulating, let me know. I'd be happy to help if you'd do it if it weren't for it being extra work. I really hope you do it because for years I've been curious as to what the results would be. I think it was done at least once before, but I seem to remember it being too flawed in some way.
