A prep league for players under 21 will begin in 1976. Junior League Baseball will play a 20-game season and will feature teams from 8 countries during its first season. The winners

At the completion of each year, top players will be eligible to sign with teams from other leagues or they will be released and newer players will be invited to play.

The league, depending on its success, may add other countries down the road.

"We want to showcase top young talent around the world and Junior League Baseball will allow us to do this," said Mat Kiernen, Commissioner of the Junior League and ***ociate Director of Neloxian Baseball, LLC.

The 1976 alignment will be:

GROUP A

USA
Netherlands
Puerto Rico

GROUP B
