I have added minor leagues to my fictional league, but now every season I am promoted to my AAA team. Does anybody know how to stop this?

Is it better to first add R and A and then after 2 seasons AA and then 2 seasons later again AAA, because of the amount of available players, or...

I am not an expert in this game. I started my own fictional league and it's running for 14 years now. It consists of 16 teams devided in 2 subleagues. There aren't any minor leagues, just feeder...
