I also have not seen a single fighting penalty in games that I've simmed either but players have "fights" credited in the stats section.

Penalty Totals?

I'm 14 games into my season. Joe Cirella lists with 12 minor penalties and 6 fights according to the Penalty Stat page.

He has 24 penalty minutes.
