Pierre's Utilities
I was trying to reorganize the add-ons and somehow deleted Pierre's original thread. I'm putting this one back until Andreas returns from vacation and I can see if we can get it back from any backups.
Henry -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Again this year with the new version of OOTP6 I made a new set of 10 utilities. 1 - All Star Editor Allow you to change the players that the computer selected for the All Star game. You need to run it just before playing you All Star game. It also affect all txt and html files needed for reports. 2 - Baseball Zip Utility This utility was made for my personnal use and my league but I decided to release it in case peoples wants to use it. This is for online league that played their own games at home. When setup correclty, it allow you to zip all files needed (gamennn.exp, teamnn.exp, teamstnn.exp, tinjnn, tnewsnn, thisnn, etc..) and send it to a web site via ftp. It also allow you to download the updated league file from the web site. (see the readme file) 3 - Career Editor In this version, I added another section to allow user to change general informations. name, firstname, nickname, position, bat, throw number, birth day, age, home town, home state, height, weight, experience, year in pro, year in mlb, year in 40 man roster. 4 - Coach Editor Allow you to edit all aspect of each coach. 5 - Draft Order Editor Allow you to change the draft order of teams. You can also put the same team at two or more different place. Take note that you need to run it before each round cause OOTP is storing only one round by one round. 6 - Editor Checker With this utility, you can see if someone used my utilities to edit something in a league. Be aware that I'm using unused variables in the dat file, but if OOTP decided to use them then this utility wont give you 100% of reality. 7 - Out season Event Generator Create event for out season and if you want, can affect players injury directly in OOTP 8 - Roster Editor Change players from any roster to another one. 9 - Team Editor Edit record, batting, pitching, etc... of the team 10 - Team Importer You can only import entire teams from another OOTP6 league. Take note that OOPT developpment is not responsible of the use of these utilities, even the Author. Please make backups before using it. As soon as Warren will post it, you will be able to find it here: http://www.tresclub.com/downloads/downloads.htm Thanks Warren You can also download it from here: http://www.liguemtl.com/download.html Thanks again and enjoy. |

site is working
If I click on one of the files to download, and nothing happens. On the homepage, in French, it looks as though the site is under maintenance.

Thanks for clarifying that the files were working fine. I use Netscape as my browser and for some reason I couldnt access info on the site through Netscape. I had to use Internet Explorer.
Thanks. Rob BAB SBL |

Does anybody know if Pierre intends on adding the ability to edit past HR allowed for pitchers and HP/SF for hitters to his career editor?

You can find Pierre's utilities at the Download Center in the Utilities area.

Draft order and 6.12
Does this draft order utility work with OOTP6? I downloaded it and set the first round to be different -- but when I opened the game, only the teams up to the first changed one were present. The rest were just blank.

I've downloaded the program and it doesn't show any retired players, only current ones. I'm trying to fix a player's file: he played 25+ years and his file got all screwed up, giving him 200 wins in one season (and other outrageous stats) which messes up the career leaders report. Ideas?

All-Star Editor for version 6.0+
Is there a working link to the latest and greatest version of Pierre's All-Star Editor? The version at his site does not work with 6.0+ and the other link is down.

I forogot to sim the first game of some CPU doubleheaders the other day and because of that, three of the games didn't register in the standings. I downloaded Pierre's utilities and tried to fix the problem through his Team Editor, but it seems like I have to enter data for every single field (batting, pitching, fielding, finances) in order to do it correctly because the default is all zeroes. The problem is some of the data is impossible to figure out because of mid-season trades (RBI, AB in the pitching, etc.).
Is there a way to get the numbers in the data box already and fix from there? All I need to do is change the won-loss, road/home won-loss, and the vs. RHP and vs. LHP fields and then I'm set. Is the utilities supposed to be in a certain folder for it to work? Thanks. |

Team Import Problem
I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but I'm trying to import specific players from league A to league B player by player... simple click-drag-drop then update. For some reason, however, league B takes forever to load by OOTP65 and the player's ratings are all 1's.
Can anyone offer any advise as to what I might be doing wrong? Thanks, Adam |
