Crashes Constantly
Basically I get these in event viewer every time:
Event ID: 1026 .Net Runtime Application: ootp25.exe Framework Version: v4.0.30319 Description: The process was terminated due to an unhandled exception. Exception Info: exception code c0000005, exception address 0000000141A24FFA Stack: Attached is my trace from this recent one. If I can figure this out for 25 I'm quite sure I can figure it out for 26 as well. Have the same problem in both it seems. Starting to think I have a bad stick of ram, though I have no problems in other more intensive games. Windows 11, 4090, i9 14900ks, ssd, 64gb ram Rebooted Graphics and Sound up to date also reformatted and updated bios always had overlays off forced game data reinstall switched full screen/windowed ran as admin and without i guess i can see if its a dx thing when i get home Last edited by perfektootp; 06-04-2025 at 09:54 AM. Reason: added trouble shooting steps. |

Any help would be appreciated. Tried compatibility mode and it worked ok for a while, but still getting the same crashes. Never play any of the games, just in the menus, filters, depth charts, etc. If it helps I get the same crashes in 26 as I do in 25.

Trying to get attention again. Getting the exact same crashes in both 25 and 26. I can run literally every game on ultra settings so its throwing me for a loop. It's almost certainly an easy fix I just don't know what to do. I've gone threw all the troubleshooting steps for crashes.

If you are getting a .NET error, that may be unrelated to the game itself, and something else is corrupted in your setup. Beware of sketchy tools offering to fix stuff, but you could try some of the options listed for example here: https://ugetfix.com/ask/how-to-fix-n...26-in-windows/ or here: https://appuals.com/net-runtime-error-1026/
I would suggest at least checking your .net install, and making sure you don't have any corruptions with that. As well as perhaps some basic RAM or disk checks to make sure you don't have any corruptions. You could also verify that you don't have any firewall active (or whitelist the game), we have seen cases in the past I believe where an active firewall could try to wall off certain files which could cause issues with the game. |
