One Specific Online League Crashes When Opened

I'm playing in four online leagues in OOTP 25. Lately one specific league, but not any others, always crashes the first time I load it. When I reopen OOTP and download league files it often crashes a 2nd time. The next time I load the league it works correctly and the files were downloaded.

I asked around but I seem to be the only player in this league with this problem. Is there any way to fix it?

If you include a trace file from a case where it crashed, that might help track down what the issue is.

Otherwise, it might be an issue with an anti-virus potentially causing an issue with something in the download. I would double-check for that as an option. The other option might be something corrupted on your local drive. I would suggest at least trying a completely fresh download of the file to a new league folder (removing the entire old league folder and grabbing the full download explicitly again). Just to make sure there's not some old file on your system that has stayed around to cause problems.

I frequently have crashes when downloading league update files. other people have also. this has been happening for years and it's just something the online community has accepted.
