Disabling game action

Is there a way, similar to the PC version where you can just simply disable action play such as pitches hits, etc. I’d like to streamline the game a bit and only looking for tactical enjoyment.

I believe you might be able to achieve this when you hit Play Game, in Step 1 - Controls there a various options that may help you out. Maybe it would work if you set the PbP Speed to instant or the Delay Between Plays to None, or increase the Animation Speed to Lightning?
