FHM 9 Delays...

I hope these delays come with fixing and making the option of 3D game decisions for AHL and ECHL games. This should have been added 2 and half years ago when Jeff Promised to add it.

Is this option still going to FINALLY added to the game for FHM 10?????

Simply because they want and or plan to add it doesn’t mean it will necessarily be in the game when they want it. That’s not how game development works.

Jeff told pretty much everyone that this will be added in the next patch....which was 2 and half years ago. Then continued to tell us that they didn't have time to add this option but are working to add it in the next patch. Which was still 2 and half years ago.

Still waiting for this option...

Great, but while that may have been the plan, plans don't always go according to plan. Especially in game development where they can't just copy and paste new features into a game without potentially breaking other aspects of the game.

Great! But then there should have been communication which have been very poor by the development team since the launch letting not just me but everyone know that these features would not be possible to be in the game due to issues. That would have been simple to say?

Instead year after year we see new features added that I don't give a crap about. Instead of fixing the main franchise mode, NHL, AHL, ECHL etc they focus on other things. Fix this game first. And there are still many things to fix before moving on and adding more features.

Well, they aren't making the game to be suited to your specific tastes. They made the decision to add those features for a reason. I agree that I'd like some more core things fixed/improved before extras, but the game has to sell and meet expectations to continue development. I don't think the developers are in the dark about the current flaws of the game, so venting here is mostly just making you feel better (I hope) but not affecting anything otherwise.

I don’t recall 3d ever being announced. Although I have no doubt it’s something that we’d all like to see one day, but it’s not the top priority. I’m sure there will be a time and place when it makes sense to focus on…that time just isn’t right now. That’s allowed focus to be on adding other features and depth.

He said one thing right tho... fix the main game before adding new features. Trades/ AI lineup choices/waivers/free agency/tactics/not signing top5 prospects etc. SHOULD be a priority
