Vin Scully of the Dodgers is one of the greatest ever, he learned from the best ever Red Barber..I moved to Florida from LA 16 years ago and now an then when the Dodgers are on the MLB Network I get to hear Scully. What a genius

This would be great for the great Rosey Roswell of Pirate fame. On away games back in the 50's he's do the game from the wire, other team do something big and he's cuss, get cut off air for a bit. great nostalgia

I've been tinkering with this a little bit using clips of Vin Scully recorded off my XM radio. To do this right you would need hundreds of hours of audio clips, each remastered to reduce background noise and reduce their size so that most computers can run them quickly without lag. Then you need intimate knowledge of XML tiggers. Then you need to write hundreds of line of commentary to match audio clips. Sound daunting? It is.

As above, but not that difficult..What's needed is for Markus to get Andreas to associate the pbp triggers to the "Play" command. He said he would, but hasn't happened yet. That's currectly the only thing preventing anyone from doing audio pbp.

I seriously doubt it. OOTP14 is worth every penny though, even more so at it's currently reduced price.

I would record the PBP myself if we could make this happen. IE, I just want the audio, never mind the actual commentators. But if it could happen it already would have been done by enterprising individuals on this forum.

I recently reinstalled APBA Baseball For Windows aka Broadcast Blast, a game that's about *18* years old, released for W3.1 back in 1996. I'm still amazed at how good the Harwell canned P-B-P was/is.
