Unable to select teams for custom international tournament

I am trying to create a custom international tournament and am unable to choose which nations I want to compete. With team selection set to "fixed" and roster source set to "team nation," there are no drop down menus to select teams. Instead, every team is listed as "<Unknown>."

Just tried to do the same thing and ran into the same issue—no matter how I change the settings, the "Nation" field remains "<Unknown>" for every team.

Yeah. No work around. Can't do custom tournaments is brutal

Yep this is the same for me. Potential workaround: put all the teams you want in your custom tournament into a custom region in Explore World -> Regions Page, then when you make your tournament, select the custom region as the tournament region, then do "Automatically Selected By Nation Talent" instead of Fixed.

Yeah something from 25 to 26 has changed there is a new choice of qualifiers, it may have broken it.

I like this workaround idea util the custom select bug is fixed.

Pardon me for having to ask this, but if I were to create a tournament using this workaround, would it be possible to change it to a Fixed selection later?

I suppose it doesn't really matter, but given how many things have already broken down in this version so far, forewarned is forearmed.
