LowB Historical 1940 BO7 T32

I just dropped in to see how it was going. I saw that Tanaka threw a complete game win, 106 pitches. I figured that he must be gassed. But no, only down to 36%. WTF?
Next game, Vida Blue, 127 pitches, down to 36%. Tanaka is back to 100% Huh? What is happening? I only need a 3 man staff.

It's 1940. You only need 3 starters and 6 bullpen is probably too many.

Yes. I forgot who posted this, but he has a 3 part series on PD on YouTube.

Having posted this, I still routinely lose in the 1st round to players who fill out 12 man pitching staffs when only 9 are needed. The game does not like less than 9 no matter the era. I think you can get away with 8, but 7 will definitely cause problems. I also noticed that when players had 5 SP and start highest rested, the game still goes through all 5 starters even though #1 is fully rested for game 4. That is why losing is so irksome because their 5th starter (likely a silver card) often beats my perfect or diamond pitcher.
