AA Replay has its first real vacancy

AA Replay is entering the postseason of its 4th season (1939) and will have its first real vacancy in Louisville.

What is the Replay? We take real American Association rosters, supplement them with Negro players as well as MLB players hailing from the midwest. You're allowed 4 Elite 'slotted players' and 2 'minor slotted players' to supplement your real life AA roster.

The MLB exists along side our American Association and players cut from the AA can go to the MLB and resurrect their carriers (see Ted Kleinhans).

Its a different league with a few different rules, but if you're an historical fan and a fan of the lesser known players, this could be your league. Ask any present or past (one guy) owner what they think of the league.

Real MLB players who start out in your organization can be slotted and kept. Its a fun group of owners, so come check us out!

So, apart from your slots, which allows you to lock a player to your roster, if the player moved in real life in the year in question to a different team, you just lose him off your roster? Does that result in a lot of volatility? Are GMs able to build from year to year or is it more of a "do the best you can with what you are given"?

You always have the opp to slot a player leaving your squad. Volatile? Idk about that but AA squads were not stagnant year to year.

It makes for some unique roster decisions each year that have to be made.
