I noticed that in an All-Star game that the starting pitcher in one game was a closer on his team. I'm guessing because his ERA was 1.13.

Never seen that before, not saying it didn't happen but that sounds like a weak league, injury issues for All stars or just a random fluke. I play out the ASG in almost every league I play and i do not always manage it. i have never seen a RP start the game over 5 versions and over 100 ASG's. Post some screenshots.
