The value of linked schedule files is that it allows for matchups to be rotated in a controlled way. For example, if you had interleague play and wanted it to rotate between divisions over a number of years, or if you had an uneven split of home and away games against an opponent and wanted that to alternate year to year, by setting up the appropriate schedules this type of rotating/alternating play can be done. |

Grrrrr. I keep getting the "loaded schedule has a different structure as (sic) the current league" error.
From the League Structure tab: 1 sub league 1 division 8 teams in division 1 From the Options tab, under Schedule Options: Season start date: April 1, 2018 Force Start on Certain Weekday: not checked Auto adjust date if matching XML schedule found: not checked # of games per team: 98 Schedule Balance: balanced schedule checked I'm trying to use ILN_BGY_G98_SL1_D1_T8_c_T8-L98.lsdl from this schedule pack (which was created *for* this league, so imagine my frustration!) and having no luck. Any suggestions?

rename the file ILN_BGY_G98_T8_c_T8-L98 or download the new fixed schedules. If you do the rename you will also need to open the lsdl file in notepad and remove the SL1_D1_ . It should read the same as the new file name without the comment of T8-L98. This is the error I had in all single league, single division schedules. |

It's in the comments area where linked schedules are defined. In your case, the name before the comment in both files is identical, and with text in the comment area, the game assumes the two schedules are intended to be linked and orders them alphabetically. If you have time, could you try out something for me? Rename the first to something like Code:
ILN_BGN_G162_SL1_D1_T6_D2_T6_SL2_D1_T6_D2_T6_c_a.lsdl Code:
ILN_BGN_G162_SL1_D1_T6_D2_T6_SL2_D1_T6_D2_T6_c_1.lsdl Last edited by Le Grande Orange; 05-01-2007 at 06:53 PM. |

2 leagues, each with 2 divisions of 5 teams.
I get the following message:
"Could not import schedule. The loaded schedule has a different structure as the current league." I have the following in order to try to make it work: 1 - turned off interleague play as the schedule has no teams playing that way 2 - BGN - I turned off balanced schedule 3 - changed the start date to match the file. I noted it said April 3, so I changed my start date to that. Also, what type of program opens thesefiles? Love the idea, hope I can get it to work |

yep - figured it out
I was using the 10-team configuration insteadof the 20 team. This is really cool...

I play out all of my games, and boy was I bummed during the middle of my first season when I realized that I forgot to incorporate interleague play.
I found this thread, downloaded the fictional schedules V.1.1.0, and I was able to switch the structure of my league from a 2L 343 343 to a 433 334. Things are working great, and I couldn't be happier. Just wanted to share my success and thank you for your hard work! ![]() |
