Thumbs up Sign here if you have preordered OOTP6

I just received my newsletter with this incredible deal, OOTP6 for $25.95 instead of $34.95 Took me 2 minutes to place my order in.

I buy this game every year, thanks for the great deal. I would pay $100 for it.

Shhhhhh..... did I just say that!

Yup.

Reds, why buy the disc as it still has to be elicensed does it not?

If I'm wrong, I'll gladly go back and chuck the extra money viatech's way but why spend $10 when I can buy a CD for $0.50?

SoxWin you are correct. Still needs to be elicensed. My guess is he has a 56k and wouldn't dl fast enough, although it would still be finished before the disc arrives. That is, unless the mailman gets faster, eh Cooley?

I have two computers; a laptop I keep at work where I can connect to the internet with ease and my older computer at home which is 56k's short of a full internet connection.

The disc is for home of course; if I have to go back and forth to work to get my elicence for the game I'll use at home, so be it; I only live 3 blocks away.

That's what I did for OOTP5, only I didn't get the disc. This time I'll try it. Oh yea, I also don't have a disc burner and don't feel comfortable doing that, so heck what's $10 US?

I bet there's souvenir coasters out there that are more expensive!

Reds1, you get 2 licenses- you can have two different installs. Also, you could just burn the file once you've downloaded it, and then put it on your other computer.

Oops, I wasn't aware of the 2 licenses. But like I said previously, I don't have a CD burner and I'm not comfortable doing that. I mean, isn't this copyrighted material? I don't want to get in trouble with Mr. Heinsohn. I can here him now.....

You wouldn't get in trouble, because you'd be downloading and burning the installation file, which is freely accessible by all who browse the OOTP website.

(correct me if I'm wrong. )

Confirmation of purchase - check!

Ordered it as soon as I saw I could. Now I've got to learn the nuances of the waiver wire, 40 man roster and the Rule 5 draft. Discount is a nice extra touch. Thanks, guys!

I got my order in. The previous 4 versions I have bought have paid for themselves many times over in enjoyment value and with all the great looking new features it looks like this one will as well. And the discount is a nice touch...one thing worth buying in the world actually getting *cheaper*.

If you play ITP, you know not to step to Markus, whether in drinking or fighting.

Oh, I preordered too.
