I can't play

When I enter the BALLPARK, the game was broken and back to the windows.

I just import the OOTP5 files and my OS is WindowsXP.

I duuno why.Help....

Same problem, here.

Running Windows XP. Imported ootp5 league. Not in the off-season. Crashes after the draft when I try to play my first game.

Uninstall?

This is a complete shot in the dark as I don't even know if sound is enabled or not in the in game screens (I don't have the game).

Try running the configuration file (it's in the game folder) and see if there is an option to turn off sound there. (I think that's where it was in OOTP)

As I said, a shot in the dark but let us know if it works or not.

Already tried. The sound option is one of the few in the config right in the game.

EDIT: Ah, I shut it off in both just now and still no luck.

Are you having the issues with just an imported league or can you not get into a game in the "standard" league also?

I'm sure!

I'm just trying to rule out possiblities to see if we can get you fixed. Try this. Create a new league in OOTP, then try to import it and see if it works.

Hmmm... I would assume they tested this but what patch version of OOTP5 are you using?

Historic, Fictional, or Standard League in OOTP? Using a roster set such as Rocco's or Geforces?

I'm having the same promblem with my import, but I'm doing some troubleshooting and seeing if I can find a soultion. I haven't ran a standard league yet. For the sake of time. When you create using the standard league when does the game start? Date wise?

Okay, I just created a fresh standard league (manager mode on) and imported it. Same problem. Whenever I try to advance a day or click on the ballpark, El-Crasho.

I'm going to try and create a fresh standard now without manager mode and do an import.

Oh, my real league has no mods or anything to it.

OKAY, I've had some sort of SUCCESS!!!...

Here are some of the things I have tried and faild..
Import mid season
Import post season (12/15)
Import off season (1/26?)

Now the one that did work!
granted by work, I mean I was able to sim a month and play a game and it proceeded to the next game. So I will keep you posted if it continues to work.

Started the game in ootp5 in offseason, took care of the coach signing and fa period. Then I closed out before I did anything in the draft (obviously mine is in the offseason). Chrichton hinted at it earlier, another thing I did was turn of my manager mode.

I'm going to start another career real fast and see if I can import mid season if I turn of manager mode.
