Baseball Universe/Playing out Games

Hello Everyone & the development team, just purchased this for my phone along with the 2003 season - poor Steve Bartman.

I play OOTP on laptop and don't manage a specific team, but play out all the games. I also disable "BNN baseball universe" so no games play in the background unless I want them to.

My question on the mobile version, it appears that I cannot play out all games for all teams & there is no "disable baseball universe. Unless I choose a team to "manage" the only options I have are quick play and watch. On the other hand, if I choose to manage a team (let's say the marlins for example) then I am able to control that team, but then all other games are being played out automatically.

Is this the way the mobile game is designed right now, or is there a function I missed that will allow me to "play out" all games if I want? Thanks for your input, amazing there is so much content coming out of such a small device!

I'm pretty sure this won't be possible in OOTP GO at least in the foreseeable future.

If we ever get commissioner mode then this might be a possibility.

Much respect for having the patience to play out everything though!

I as looking for this to be a feature,and It should be especially at playoff time or if you want to play out both games of a doubleheader,etc. So there is reasons to add this in.

You can watch other games, but you can't influence them at all. I have watched a few playoff games from other teams when the series interested me.

Only issue is once a game is watched or played all other games that day are simmed.

Exactly and this is the issue we are looking to be able to adjust at will. It’s a simple options toggle. I hope Markus can see this be added.

But is there a way to just watch a game? One where I don't have to click "View Next Play" but just sit back and let it unfold? I am playing the 1977 season and when the Dodgers are playing a crap team like the Padres or Braves, I like to watch more viable teams but I don't like having to push it to the next play. Those games I just want to watch.

Thanks for all the replies. A question on "playing out games." When you say you are playing out all your games, do you mean for each team in the league (30x162)? Or do you mean you're playing out all the games of the team you are managing only (162) and the rest of the league is simmed? Both of these could be interpreted as "I play out all my games."
