Inaugural Draft random order?

I am trying to do an inaugural draft for a historical league and I want to randomize the order. I didn't even notice it wasn't random until the Pirates picked 1st 3 season in a row and I thought hmm that's unlikely to be by chance.

There used to be a button to randomize the order but it's not there anymore. I even tried turning Commissioner Mode on (never had to in previous version) and it still won't show up.

What am I missing here?

Update: I got out a copy of OOTP19 and attempted to create a league using identical settings and I was given a random order at the start with the option to roll a new random order. So either I'm missing something or the game is missing something.

The option to assign random draft order is still there.

Yes that is where I thought SHOULD be, but it's not:

I was referring to inaugural drafts and also free agent drafts, not amateur drafts.

It looks like you've already started the draft here (you can tell because there is a button that says 'continue draft').

Once you've started the draft, the order cannot be changed. You would need to stop the sim before the draft starts (which can happen if you progress to the draft using the 'continue button') if you want to change the order.

Yes I figured out that clicking the checkmark to warp to the draft home page (I always did this in the past), now starts the draft and locks the order.
This was rather confusing but at least I figured out how to get it to work.

It's there for inaugural and FA drafts also, as long as you haven't started the draft yet.

Glad you got it working.

We'll fix it up so that down the road, when the events bring you to the draft page, it won't auto-start it if the draft hasn't started yet
