Realistic 32 Team Schedule?

I have been using a custom schedule, I am just not sure how realistic it is. I ideally would like a schedule as close as possible to how it works currently for baseball.

I have it set up w/ 32 teams, 2 leagues, 4 divisions, 4 teams, 162 games.

Is the schedule OOTP comes up with my best option?

Thanks in advance.

If you have a schedule that was actually generated by the game itself, it's not going to be very realistic. The game only generates balanced schedules, & without any interleague play. I can't say I've tested any of these out but this schedule pack from GMO looks like a good one.

Thank you very much sir, I really appreciate it!

I couldn't handle the generated schedules anymore.

Tested it out, they seem to force start on a Monday. I'm guessing if I switch it to Thursday, that would mess it up?

It wouldn't make the game unplayable or anything, but your off days would be unrealistic. Normal MLB typically only has off days Monday and Thursday (verrry rarely Wed/Fri), so changing the start date to a Thursday would give you a bunch of Sunday off days.

I also started recently getting better grasp of how these custom schedules work so I may have to go through and give them another shot.

This is a very well balanced league that fits your parameters. The one hitch is that it focuses on 4-game series between divisional opponents. The rest of the sub-league gets 3-game series; and a rival division (NL west vs AL west) gets 3-game series as well. All-star game on the 4th of July.
