Problems Legacy/7-Day Lineups

Hey Y'all

I have run into an interesting delimma,,, It seems the game isnt handling 7-Day Lineups correctly on import/RTS.... I have uploaded the League File to the FTP Tech Support Site (RABA.zip) with screens shots included with the 17 files... if you require any further information let me know....

Here is the Dodgers on GM's Workstation and then on Main Machine Running Live SIM....

Here is the Reds on GM's Workstation and then on Main Machine Running Live SIM.... If you noted on below screen... the Main Machine says Wednesday is an off-day yet the Reds won a game that day... as you can see on the GM Machine the game is scheduled... Crazy Stuff...

For the top example here is the lineup it used on the Tuesday of the SIM.

2b Pratt
C Burgess
RF Clemente
LF Cruz
3b Carey
1b Brogna
CF Ashburn
SS Larkin

It was supposed to be much different if you look at the Tuesday the 17th that I sent in.. sorry i failed on the screenshot

All players were rested, so it should not have gone to the depth charts.

7 day lineups didnt work again last sim for me.

Above is a photo from the 31st. RHP started, yet my lineup doesnt follow.

This has happened almost every SIM for me and others in the league.

June 1st doesn't match up either. It reverted to my depth chart with Larkin and Pratt in the wrong order.

All players seem to be rested and this sim i tried depth charts off.

It never seems to make a mistake with my pitchers.

The one last thing I will add to this issue is:

For the last couple days of the SIM (Saturday and Sunday) I faced two LH pitchers and my 7 day lineups worked. It ignored my depth charts and used the proper 7 day lineups.

This has been a consistent issue with other teams in the league. The first 4 days or so don't work for the 7 day lineups, but for the last few it does.
There is something going on where it isnt recognizing those first few days. (As far as hitters go)

We're looking at this, and will let you know if we find anything.

A few more quick points of clarification, you mention RTS, are you always running sims with the real-time mode? Curious if you don't, whether you see a difference in setup in each.

I would also wonder if you don't set the "clear after use" setting, does that make a difference in using the lineups?

Finally for now, if you can describe a little more of your commish schedule, that may help, especially since you mention things seem to work some days but not others. Are your sims weekly? Slower/Faster?

My basic Schedule is a SIM four times a week Monday-Monday AM... always LIVE RTS run at 60x pace. I also have two other leagues I do the same (they are not legacy and have no problems)... I dont deviate from my schedule in the way I run things... Setup for RTS, run daily sim, Finish Day, do a Save, Launch RTS...

We have tried multiple combinations with 7 Day Line ups.. Handedness on/off, starting subs on/off, pitching force start or not, clear lineups and not. Only thing that hasn't been ventured into is Custom Lineups... Made sure GM's with issues had 'Strict' for rotation

Again it is inconsistent... it has happened to 4 GM's in the league, one who has also been posting in this thread...

We still plug along the GM's I believe stopped using 7-day... but I can do any testing if you like since my team is going no where this season... lol

So I took a look at your league file, and I was able to reproduce what you were seeing. However, I don't think there is an error. First, when it comes to that off-day you are seeing on the main machine, that's just because they finished playing for the day and it hasn't yet rolled over to the next day. The other issue then with it not seeming to use the 7-day lineup I was able to fix by setting "Allow use of alternative lineup" to No, and setting "Allow use of depth chart" to No and "Use 7-day lineups" to YES. Try using these settings and see if it helps. Also remember that if you have a player in the 7-day lineup and they're injured, the 7-day lineup will look different than the actual game because that player will be replaced. Let me know if that works

Thought I already got back to you, guess not, anywho a big Thanx for checking things out... on our end we have tried a batch of different settings for the different GMs having some issues. It seems we have worked it all out with your guidance...
