Minor League Affiliation question

I seem to recall in OOTP 17 there was an issue that when a minor league team changed affiliations in the offseason that all the players on that team were no longer with the team. Can somebody in the know please let me know if this has been resolved in 18? thank you so much.

the game can't change affiliations seamlessly, no. the best way to change affiliations for franchises is to change the name of the franchise, that way, the players stay with the organization. tedious, but better than the alternative.

Depends on whether you are playing historical minors or not and the year in question. As a generality historical years change afflictions without incident and players stay in the correct organization.
