Frustrating AI Decisions

I know the AI in a game like this is almost impossible to get perfect. But this was a situation that seems like a no brainer to me...

Top 11, Angels batting versus Mets. Angels have bases loaded with 2 outs. Pitcher (Cam Bedrosian) is up. No brainer to pinch hit here right? Nope. He quickly strikes out on 3 pitches, inning over, rally killed. OK, maybe they are keeping him in the game to pitch bottom 11?

Nope. As soon as he strikes out, pitching change new pitcher for the Angels. So if they were planning on taking Bedrosian out anyway, why wouldn't they pinch hit?

Mets win in bottom of 11th. Decisions like that are few and far between but I can't see any good reason for something like that happening.

Did they have a pinch hitter available? Crazy modern ball with 86 man bullpens, teams can run out of pinch hitters rather quick.

That was my first thought too - did they have a PH available? Top of the 11th is still early, but it's possible depending on what else happened during the game, they may not have had one available.
