Feeder League - Now Generating All 5 Star Prospects

I've been creating a large feeder league team by team. All of the sudden today, when I populate the team with fictional players, every single one of them is rated as 5 star potential. This has happened on the last 5 teams I've created. This was not happening before, in fact, it was very rare before to even have a 4 or 5 star prospect.

Any idea what is going on and how to fix?

Was there a news story about comets landing in a field, giving birth to wave superhumans? I saw this in 'other news' and thought nothing of it until 18 years later, when my league was overrun. I responded by increasing my bionic development budget and hired a new trainer with unorthodox (but brilliant) methods, and soon my naturally born human prospects were able to compete with the 5 star aliens, normalizing the league's balance by the fifth year after the OTHERS arrived.

(No, I don't know. Although sometimes, some days, all of my players either have all their evaluations pumped up or dropped, inexplicably. Everyone is suddenly two stars better or two stars worse than before for a few days. It seems like a separate issue though, if these players are genuinely elite!)

So I tried again today, and sure enough, these superhumans are still populating my teams.

Anyone else have any ideas?

So I have an update to this. I went back into my other teams and it appears that not only are new teams populating with all five star prospects, but even the ones that I had previously created are also five stars.

So basically, every player in this league is five stars.

Anyone know how to fix this?

Try doing a re-scout on the entire league and see if that clears up the ratings.
