game crashes after 10 years

My game crashes and closes when I try to open my game once it gets to 10 years? Wth this is the second time really sick of restarting

Do you mean playing 10 years straight in one sitting, or after your game has reached 10 years?

How large is your league? While we do test long term sims on large(ish) leagues, if you have an exceedingly large world, it's possible that after 10 years you are basically running out of memory in the game.

And then is your league crashing at the same time? And do you know what date it is crashing on?

The more information we have, the better we can understand what the problem is.

in march of 2026 in the game it crashes basically. does that mean if I delete some folders and add some memory it will be okay?

and when I try to open the folder it says ootp.17.exe has stopped working and closes it saying it will let e know when it has a solution to the problem, which then shuts the game off completely.

edit: this is when I hit 10 years in the game

If it tends to crash at the same time in the same league, there might be a problem at that date. Please upload your league files (there are directions linked in the forum) and we can investigate further.

this might actually help u. i was only 4 years in on this one so idk if it will or not

in my main league save it was crashing every time it got 100% loading on team affiliate logos. all my other saves worked just fine so i went into the save folder and and copied over the dak files one by one onto a clean game and found out that it was the faces dak file. i just replaced it with the face file from the fresh league and it seems to work fine. i havent advanced yet or anything but at least it loaded. i will report back if it stops working
