Milestone Setting - What's the Point / Does it Work??

Under League Options where you set up Milestones (for example, 2000 career hits), does this actually change something? I know for single season it will adjust the accomplishments history tab to whatever you set the single season amounts to.

What about the career milestones you set - what exactly gets changed to your customized setting? Under league history, accomplishments, then milestones tab, nothing is changed for career milestones. When I click on "Milestone Watch" I also don't see any definitive numbers relating to my milestone settings (for example, I can change the settings and it doesn't affect this page).

What's the point of career milestone settings? What actually is adjusted in the game?

It changed in my game but you won't see any obvious changes until players get within a certain pont like within 250 hits for example. My milestone is set for 1000 in this league which uses an 88 game season

Yes, as mentioned the milestones tab will check players closing in on milestones, and depending what they're set at, will trigger emails when players reach them.

Also of note, they're used for some HOF calculations, so if they're way off from expected you might see some players HOF monitor or standards values look weird and could affect players getting elected to the Hall.

OK, I did change it an it does appear to change. However, I'm not certain about the History---->Accomplishments------>Milestone tabs. Still seems like it's only based on typical round numbers (i.e 50, 500, 1000).

Here's my accomplishments> milestone page.
Yes it is in round numbers but that might be because I tend to go with 50,100,500,1000 when setting milestones. But you can see that the things I changed like 100 wins and 200 saves for pitchers as well as 1000 hits are being recognized

Your milestone page looks similar to my milestone page, yet I would be we have different settings. I guess that's my point, is the milestone page under league history appears to be just when a player approaches a rounded number (typically in increments of 500's or 1,000's for batting stats). Shouldn't they be different? My league has 80 game season. Check out your minor leagues, their accomplishments should be much lower yet in some cases I have nothing showing up in "accomplishment" history listing because I think the leagues are treated the same.
