36-team, 172-game schedule
I need some help with a 172-game schedule for a 36-team league.
*2 subleagues *3 divisions per subleague (6 teams per division) *Season starts first Friday of Spring (ie first Friday on or after March 21) *Interleague play enabled I want teams to play: *1 home game and 1 away game against each team in the opposite league *3 series of 2 games at home and 3 series of 2 games away against the five other teams in a team's own division *6 games against the other 12 teams in the subleague: 2 series of 2 games at home plus 1 series of 2 games away against 6 teams, and 1 series of 2 games at home plus 2 series of 2 games away against the other 6 teams. This leaves 4 games. That can be made into a 2-game home series against one non-division subleague rival and a 2-game away series against another non-division subleague rival. I also want a three-day all-star break scheduled somewhere around the 100-game mark. Is this feasible? I know it leans towards the complicated end of things. |

I can work on this after the holiday weekend.
If someone can make it before then, go for it. |

That works for me just fine. I'm starting a quasi-historical/fictional world that begins in 1871, and 36 teams/172 games is what I want my major league to look like in its final state.
