You need to look at the year. It is 1878. Probably a big factor. Not many walks either.

The rotation for each team consists of only one pitcher although usually three pitchers get starts for being tired, etc. we are approximately 120 games in and the pitcher that leads the league in strikeouts has 34 and has pitched over 400 innings. So as you can see the strikeouts are rare. On the other side of the coin the HR leader has 6. He is tied with another.
Interesting. I'm trying to find out if as the seasons go by the power increases and the rotation changes to 2 or 3 starters. Like in real life or the year you pick at the beginning is status quo regardless of the progression. One other thing my team budget is around $6000. My highest player gets about $500 a year and minimum is about $125. Try it. It is fun and different. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
