Can anyone suggest a work around for this?
I had a pitcher who was injured for like 6 weeks. After a stint on the DL, I sent him to a rehab assignment. After his first start there, he blew out his elbow and was out for 11-12 months. I placed him on the 60 day DL. Thirty days go by and the game tells me I have a player on a rehab assignment that needs to go on the active roster or be DFA. Trying to place him on the active roster results in the the 'player still has DL time left' message, and trying to DFA him (although he is the last player I'd want to get rid of) results in the 'this player is injuried, place him on the DL instead message'.
If someone else has seen this, can you point me to the relevant post? If not, can anyone think of a work around so I can continue my season? I have filled out the ootp tech issue report and am waiting for a response. smd |

I've actually had this happen to me, but it was a career-ending injury with Travis Snider (around 2017). He was on a rehab assignment in AAA and got injured again there. When the rehab assignment ended (he now had his career-ending injury, and had announced his retirement), the only way I could continue the game was to release him (costing me about $4,000,000).
Clearly there's a bug here that needs to be worked out. |
