importing player photos

hello,

I downloaded the 2010 mlb photos from the padresfan website and put them in the file......saved games/league.lg/news/html/images....but they dont appear in my league unless i import them one at a time using the pictures tab at the bottom of the page....i know there has to be an easier way to get them into my league....any help will do.

You can't load them straight into the saved games/league.lg/news/html/images folder. The game doesn't use first_name lastname there anymore.

You load them into the OOTP11/photos folder. You will need to delete all the photos from images including the ones that show as player_XXXXX (they were the ones you did manually). Then tell the game to select the photo as needed. It will go get it from photos, rename it and place it in images.

ok I did that....but how do i get them into the game.....i click on pictures and its the same as it was when they were in the other folder....

It is an area with many little bugs right now (also depending on what patch you are on), but basically if you have all your photos in the photo folder and no photos in the HTML/images folder.

Then with a game setting to

No fictional pictures
create player pictures on demand
update/generate player pictures always as needed
Load picture automatically box checked
Load Photofit box NOT checked

They should then show.

I have confirmed that this process works. You might have to clear out the images folder each time you update pictures I have found out, which is a pain. The game loads up a few over 1800 pictures in there for my game, so anytime I have new/updated photos to add, I have to clear it out again.
