Can't find injuries.dat
I'm trying to find injuries.dat in my .lg folder and I don't see it. In the OOTP9\database directory I see the injuries.txt, but isn't the .dat supposed to be in the league directory?

They eliminated injuries.dat for 2007, I believe. Now the game loads injuries.txt for each session of OOTP.

Dola, I posted a notice about this in the manual thread because it still talks about the injuries.dat file.

So is it then impossible to use a seperate injury database for each league I create?
I ask because I like to use a modified injury file when using short season major leagues. A 60 day injury really hurts when you're only playing a 104 day schedule in the first place. Thank you for your help.

Can it be that the only answer to your question is to swap a customized injuries.txt in the data/database folder, which serves all games, for each saved game that you wish to play with different injuries settings? We pretty much determined in this thread that injuries.txt is imported into the current game every time you start OOTP: http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...-baseball.html Even though that's from 2007, I don't think anything has changed. So, I guess if you are playing your current game and wish to change the injuries settings for that session of OOTP only, that's what the Re-Import Injury Database button is for, once you have edited or swapped the injuries.txt file. Other than that, I would say you need to have different versions of injuries.txt on hand, swapping them in and out of the database folder as needed according to the game that you are playing.
