Expansion 32 -> 34 teams

Right now I'm 32 team league (2 x 5/6/5).
http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...ithout-il.html works very well there.

After this season it's time for another expansion. But of course four new teams would be too much for one expansion. But how to do it with 34 teams?

One league 5/6/5 and the other with 6/6/6 or 5/5/4/4?

There should be IL play and All-Star Game. Season could be 162 games or some more if needed.

I'm playing OOTP 8 and have the dynasty below going.

Thanks in advance!

Considering creating a schedule, odd numbers of teams is divisions are quite complicating. An unbalanced league of two divisions of 6 teams is much easier than two divisions of 5 teams. So from that standpoint the 3 divisions of 6/6/6 would be preferable.

You are the boss. So we go for 6/6/6 then and re-consider in two years what to do with 36 teams. I think there should be at least two years between each expansion. Usually my farm system looks very sad after each expansion draft.

Thanks!

Is the first or second subleague going to 6/6/6?

Let's take the 2nd one (National League) for 6/6/6. Will be harder to qualify for playoffs anyway with 18 teams.

Thanks a lot in advance!
