No mention of the ootp4 patch - kinda weird. Would have been great to use it to announce the patch - especially with just 9 days left in October. I hope we don't see the dreaded 'delay' announcement.

also, not to be a dick but spelling errors in newsletters, ads, GAMES, etc. look REALLY unprofessional. I know you guys want to convey your message professionally and be taken serious by the public - especially by people who haven't had the pleasure to play the game yet. just my 2 cents (which i'm sure i'll get flamed for)

Well, considering English is not their native language I would think they did pretty good overall.

Correct me if I am wrong here, but at least one of them IS a native english speaker, AFAIK. I agree with Go Tribe.

Maybe they're avoiding the crap that comes along with announcing the patch is 5 days away, etc. We know they're working on it. I have a feeling their close and not saying anything.

Seriously, should get someone to proof it before it's sent out if it's has mistakes. (Assuming they can't be sorted with a simple spellcheck.)

The update thing is kind of irritating. When the ITP release date was pushed back...there was a mention at the end of Markus' post stating that the OOTP4 update would be out in EARLY October. I know that things don't always go per schedule but an "update on the update" would have been nice. I realize that this is a "free" addition and I do not really mean to complain. Would just like to be updated when something goes weeks beyond expected date.

Update on the Update... The patch is in beta. It will be released when it is ready.

Gotcha. I thought the issue here was that someone had noted enough spelling and grammatical mistakes in the newsletter to point it out here in a thread.

But anyway, for the good news, the Out of the Park Baseball final update will be released the day after the World Series ends.

Also, I admit the October newsletter was a little "lite." Most of it was timing-related; i.e., our November newsletter will be substantial, and will highlight the all of the features and fixes in the new OOTP update (among other things). We will try to get the November newsletter out pretty early in the month.
